On Friday I went to a concert by The Hidden Cameras, the first of their current tour. The jubilant choral pop-rock was accompanied by stunning, low-tech visuals by Winnipeg's Daniel Barrow. Barrow uses an overhead projector, combining his own drawings, naive (found?) illustrations, and a pen to create artworks that perfectly complement the band's sweet melodies of longing and hope. Don't miss them if they come to your city.
