@ErikTheRed: Yep, that's right. If you want to do a little touch up to your photograph, that's okay. But the photograph is really just to document whatever you've created offline. We've had a few entirely Photoshop'd entries so far and those won't be included in the judging.
@Peter: Ideally you’d be reproducing the logo, rather than reproducing just the word "veer". So, the more it looks like the logo or wordmark (while being made of something entirely different) the better.

I put my creation on a white sheet of paper when I photographed it and had to adjust the background [using the clone stamp] so that it extended to the edges of the photo. Is that alright? I didn't alter the look of the creation [unless you count increasing the exposure a tad], just the white background so that it looked clean. I hope that's okay! If not, I'll photograph it again and submit it correctly.
