I can't decide if the video for Someone Else's "Picture Perfect" is really high concept (in the vein of Fatboy Slim's Praise You) or just an ambitious iMovie.
“
Yeah, exactly my point. And yet I get the urge to watch it over and over...
”
“
Sorry Jon, I couldn't even make it through one showing. Maybe if it was people I actually knew... or a mashup of multiple weddings and receptions...
”
“
I dunno, I could just see this being projected on the wall of some uber-hip NYC nightclub. But you know, this video would really be well suited to the Crash Ballet video remix treatment.
”
“
Yeah, the nightclub angle is a better idea... it just needs a new soundtrack. And I'm all for promoting a Crash (The Wedding Reception) Ballet kind of thing. Hey Jim, you listening to this?
”
“
Show that piece of... in a nightclub? It'd need some serious remixing, and a better soundtrack, and other stuff added and... I still don't think it'd be any good. =P
”
“
It's a glorified wedding video. He gave up on the stop frame stuff after the first minute, so it wasn't even interesting to look at anymore. If I want to see a bunch of drunks making fools of themselves, I can go to my family reunion.
”
“
Tape it and put it to music. Someone, somewhere will blog it...
”
“
What the heck is that?!
