Grant Bleeds Green for Wired

Veer's very own Grant Hutchinson is not just an expert web designer and blog poster, he's a diehard Newton aficionado. His comments add color to this article on Wired News about another Newton fetishist and photographer, John Charlton.

Thanks for the props Jon.

One nit to pick though... I noticed in the title text for the link that you referred to the Newton as a 'PDA precursor'. In fact, John Sculley coined the term 'Personal Digital Assistant' during the development of the Newton. The Newton was and still is the only handheld device that features functional digital 'assistance' or intelligent task management technology. Therefore, the Newton was not a PDA precursor, but a true PDA.

Yes, I am a green-bleeding geek.

And then I said …
