Schtock: Modern Day Folk Hero

“I work at a major stock photo company cataloging images. The majority of the stuff I work with will never see the light of day … as an amateur designer, I occasionally can’t help but play around with the images I see floating across my desk on a daily basis. This site contains the results.”

Is there a Robin Hood in our midst? Rescuing images from the trash bin to entertain the masses?

Whoever you are, Schtock, we applaud your awesome vigilanteism. Of course, we aren’t in the department that roves the halls with a dart gun and a policy manual, so we have both hands free to applaud you.

I'm a cataloging supervisor there and interested to know who this is - it's very creative work. But be warned, we're also considering loading up the dart guns...

I tend to stick to the regular cataloger diversions of creating fake keywords and adding the tag 'phallic' to pictures of the Washington Monument, so I applaud Schtock for actually creating something with his/her energy. However, identifying him/herself as a cataloger was, perhaps, a bad idea. Darts hurt!
