Infectious Car Art

Admit it, sometimes you dream about having some truly bitchin' graphics on your ride. Like that guy with the Neverending Story van. Except maybe a little less scary. And perhaps removable, just in case having Moonchild on your rear door panel seems a little less cool in a year or so. Lucky for you, Infectious is here to help. Newly launched, they carry easy-to-install vinyl graphics for your car designed by the likes of Buff Monster, Dalek, and Coop. They're also aiming to become the Threadless of car graphics, with a community submissions section. Check it out and never get lost in a sea of silver cars again.

These are truly awesome. "Easy to remove", though? Those Coop stickers would be gone in a second.

Well, 'easy to remove' if you've got a hair dryer handy and are patient enough not to pull too fast. And they're single-use, too. But, yeah, I guess you would have to be on the watch for drunk freshmen trying to get themselves some dorm flair.

What, no unicorn-riding robot amazon princess? Unacceptable!

Full disclosure: I'm friends with Tim (founder of Infectious) and am a BIG Obama supporter.
I'm helping Tim get the word out about open submissions for the Obama Car Art contest. It's a chance for folks to re-invent the political bumper sticker and some of the early submissions are pretty amazing. Proceeds go to producing free decals for the campaign.
It would be great to have some Veer-lovers submit designs.
All the nitty-gritty details can be found at www.infectious.com/obama
