If you're lamenting the passing of winter, check out these photos of the International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival in Harbin, China. Childhood snow forts do not compare. Unless perhaps you spent your childhood in Harbin, China.

It is really a beautiful and great report with photography and design. The tradition of making "lamps" at that region is already over 1.000 years old. They did just at the lanes and streets water at a bowl, and made a hole in it, and when the water was frozen they did put a candle in it. And this grew out to this ice and snow festival.
