Ads from comic books

Sea-monkeys. Charles Atlas. X-ray specs. The ad pages in old comic books, radiant with PT Barnum authenticity, could provide almost as much excitement as the stories themselves. From the seven dollar nuclear submarine, to America's favorite pet (the baby racoon), it's all here.
