Always constructive. I like the way that you stylize your subjects. You vary from one to the next!
I have to say that I like and am fascinated by the way that you render them.
One isn't always the Lonliest Number, sometimes it is the Way!

These are great! I've forwarded them to my owl enthusiast friends, and I know they'll LOVE them. It's amazing how they evoke different feelings. I especially love the happy surfer owl.
Cheers!

Hi Clancy!

I LOVE your owls and the different moods they invoke and the varied styles. Of course, the Barn Owls are my favorites!

I'm curious what got you interested in painting owls?

I spent 19 years of my life living with an unreleasable Barn Owl, which was mindblowing. Wesley was moody, playful, opinionated, emotional, strong willed, affectionate, and highly intelligent. I wrote a book about him that came out in August called WESLEY THE OWL - THE REMARKABLE LOVE STORY OF AN OWL AND HIS GIRL. There are a lot of pictures in the book and you can see that he had a lot of different "looks" as do your owls here. You have obviously watched owls and know their various postures and moods. This is a stunnning collection! Are any of your paintings for sale?
Sincerely,
Stacey O'Brien
