Preliminary sketches: CLUE characters

Here are a few preliminary sketches for illustrations I'm working on. They're characters from the popular board game "Clue", done for a coworker who makes halloween costumes.

Welcome-mat

Buffet Script

I’m buying Buffet Script for the logo I’m doing. I LOVE this font.
It’s “elegantly cheesy”.

Logo in development...

I'm working on a logo idea right now - the idea of the video is to treat your customer like a guest in your home. The logo concept is a welcome mat with the logo imprinted upon it. So far I'm trying typefaces such as Veer's Candy Script, Buffet Script and Feel Script, as well as House Industries' "House Movements: Sign". Any other "welcoming" suggestions?
