FAQ: Royalties & Payments

How will I receive royalties from my sales?
You can choose to be paid through either a PayPal or Payoneer account. We're told that Payoneer is easier to use for those living outside of North America. If you'd like to use Payoneer - be sure to select that option during the registration process (following acceptance of your 10 files). A few weeks following registration you'll be sent additional information to complete your sign-up and receive your Veer branded Payoneer debit-Mastercard.

What is the royalty structure for images sold on Veer Marketplace?

When will I be paid?
The minimum threshold for payout is $100.00. Royalties will accrue until you surpass $100. If you don’t happen to hit $100 during the year, you’ll automatically receive payout of any accrued royalties after the close of the calendar year.

You will be paid 15 days following the month your accrued royalties surpass $100. So if you made $50 in March, and $75 in April, you will be paid $125 by May 15th. If you made $105 during the month of June, you would receive payment on July 15th.

Hi Valery -

Currently VMP is accepting royalty-free (RF) content only. If you are interested in submitting RM content to Veer, check with your editor or check the Veer submissions page for more info.

Thanks,

Hi Rich -

Good question.

Sales and royalty info and stats will be added to the contributor dashboard in a future release.
All images or illustrations submitted to Marketplace will not be available for license until the full buyer-side launch later this summer. So we'll have the stats and royalty reporting elements in place before then.

Thanks,

- Brian

Hi, I just got accepted and have to upload all my library, so my question is, are the images currently selling and we just can't see the statistics for now? or simply they are not ready for sale yet?

Hi Daniel -

All newly uploaded content will be unveiled when we release the next phase of Veer Marketplace - the customer-facing release scheduled for late July. Sales and statistics information will be in place for that launch.

Best,

- Brian

Hi Brian,
I've had 228 images transferred from Snap Village. I see that number on my dashboard. When I go to the Veer Marketplace site, I find 186 of my images are already available for purchase. Why are the numbers different? And how can I tell if I've had any sales?
thanks,
Kim Doucette (Kimmit)

Hi Kim -

We are still loading the final batches of transferred content to the Phase 1 Preview version of Veer Marketplace. I'll double-check, but it's likely your remaining files are in a batch due to go live later this week.

Sales for the Phase 1 version of Marketplace are reported offline, via email.

Best,

- Brian

Hi Brian,
one question about the payment method: I got approved as a contributor, and when I go to "Continue contributor sign up" it asks me about my paypal or payoneer account. the thing is: paypal is useless here in Argentina (no matter what the paypal website says, visa does not allow to transfer the money to a card issued here due to some central bank regulation), and I doubt payoneer will work ok here (and also i dont see much point in having a payoneer card just to receive a payment once in a while, i'm not a big contributor). On all other sites i use moneybookers (used checks before, but sometimes the checks get lost in the mail here... or in the mailman's pocket), so: is there a plan to use moneybokers in the future? or is it ok to leave the field blank and choose what to use when i reach a payout?
Thanks (and please forgive my bad english and lack of synthesis power),

Best Regards,

Germán.

Hi Germán -

Unfortunately Moneybookers is not currently compatible with our setup. We're going to keep pushing to add that option when we it becomes possible.

In order to continue with Veer Marketplace registration, you'll need to pick one. If you choose Payoneer, you'll be contacted with further instructions in the coming weeks.

I would reconsider Payoneer: they provide a branded pre-paid debit Mastercard usable worldwide at any ATM or retail location that accepts Mastercard. You can withdraw earnings in local currency cash from the ATM, or use for online or retail purchases like any credit card.

Hope this helps,

- Brian

Hi Brian,

Have sales and royalty info and stats been added to the site yet? Its just I've noticed some of my images have had sales...but I can't find or view the royalties anywhere?

Thanks,

James

Hi James -

We've added some basic stats on each image in the "Approved" tab of your Dashboard. This includes cumulative number of views, downloads, and *total royalty earned (*before any applicable withholding taxes).

We're working on a more complete stats and royalty dashboard. Look for that to come in a future release.

Best,

- Brian

Hi Brian,

The basic stats on all the images are great - A very useful feature. I look forward to seeing the more complete stats & royalty dashboard possibly with a current 'totals' balance and daily / monthly performance feature to help track and monitor at a glance.

Thanks again for your response,

James

Hey Brian , can you explain me from where i can see how selled pictures i have and where i can see my balance?

Vasil Vasilev

Hi Vasil -

You can see basic stats for each image on the Approved tab of your dashboard, but there is currently no spot that shows your total accrued royalty. This will be remedied soon - a full royalty and stats section is coming in the next release.

Thanks,

- Brian

Thanks

I see when I upload .eps files they are only available as an .eps download. I'd like to upload .jpgs of the same files to offer the various sizes, is this okay?

I am interested in becoming a contributor but use moneybookers as a payment method. Is it possible to have funds transferred to the money booker account?

dont you people relize how bad you r getting ripped off. You cant even see how much money they are holding of YOUR money or how many times a pic has been sold. You know nothing except what they tell you.

In your June 10th reply below about RF content you say to speak with your editor. I hope to be accepted but am very interested in RF. Is this something that is available only to some? Or if accepted will I be able to submit to RF only? Thanks
