Who is eligible to be a Veer Marketplace contributor?
Everyone! Whether you're a photographer, a photography studio, an illustrator, or just talented with a camera, you are welcome to apply to be a Veer Marketplace contributor.
What does the application process involve?
You'll be asked to submit your 10 best images for review. If those are approved, you'll be able to upload more images.
What happens if my application is rejected?
There are reasons why some applications won't be accepted on your first try. If that happens, you are welcome (and encouraged) to try again.
What are some of the reasons that applications get rejected?
Our image reviewers will look at the quality and content of the first 10 images you submit, as representative of what you'll be submitting in the future. If your images meet the technical requirements and contain subject matter we think customers will be interested in, you'll be quickly approved. If your images fall short of those goals, we'll let you know where you can improve, and ask you to apply again.
How do I start the application?
When you have signed up for a Veer account and have set up your Veer Ideas member page, you'll find a link on the member page that says "Become a contributor". Full step-by-step instructions can be found on the contributor page.

My images got approved and it says they are up for sale right now. I thought that they wouldn't be for sale until later? How can I make some my images unavailable for now?

All content uploaded now will be unveiled and available to customers after the customer-facing launch later this summer. None of your images are available to customers now.
Good catch - the copy is unclear on the approved tab.
I'll see if we can clarify that until the next phase launches.

Hi!I do not know if is the right place to type that but it is about refused files :I had refused a lot of photos for similar with others...and sincerely i didnt find any photo similar with mine..beside that my photos are with people and cant be similar with others .Those photos refused already sales on other sites and pretty well and they are new photos ,maybe they have a month.I understand they can be refused for technical problems but not for similar when they content people...other 8 sites i upload not refused one photo from this session..but 33?To much....Where i can complain about refused photos because i do not think they were reviewed to well?

Apologies if the message was unclear - it sounds like some of your files were declined as they were too similar to other files from your submission that we did accept.
In order to create a more curated collection that will appeal to our buyers, our editors may pick a selection of representative images from amongst a large group of substantially similar images.

Hi Brian...not was that,the refused files not was similar with anything from my portfolio, and for thing i said it is a very big mistake.Please can you tell editors to look again ?If exist some big mistake why i should to upload here.For example:angry boss ...was only a photo with that...and all refused files are only one from a shot...not even similar..so it is a big mistake here.Tell me why not even other site,from 8 i upload already and sales there not refused not even a file from all photos?Because they are not similar.

Thanks a lot Brian, I know that I made a big mistake as I thought we had to reupload those 10 submitted pictures than I didn't upload them on big sizes though they are in high resolution. I hope to be accept the same then I will reupload them with the biggest sizes. I have to upload by your browser as FTP still doesn't work and can't find the proper SSL name on my FTP.

Hello, there seems to be a problem with my account. I uploaded 10 images and I received a notice that all 10 were all accepted.
When I signed in today those images that showed up in the approved tab of my contributor dashboard are no longer there and there is no record that I ever submitted them. For some reason I just have a blank account.
Please help me resolve this so that I can upload the rest of my portfolio!

Just logged on today to see how my images were getting along - the 15 images I had Pending on my dashboard have vanished - they're not rejected, accepted or pending.
Can you find out where they are and get them back?

I have almost the same problem as David Dear. I had approximately 40 images in the pending tab a couple of days ago. They have since vanished.... 6 have shown up as rejected but the rest are just plain gone.
I hope I don't have to re-upload these shots

I submitted my initial images and some of them had problems due to lighting... not a big problem. I went to upload some other ones I thought the reviewer might appreciate more, but it will not let me submit a fresh batch of 10 even though the others appear to have all gone to the "Rejected" folder.
Is there a time in which I cannot resubmit 10 images? Why can I not submit them?

Normal review time is less than a week. There is currently a bug in new contributor submissions that we are actively working to address - this has held up review of your content. We'll contact you directly to let you know when a fix is in place.

Resubmission bugs have been squashed. ;) We're clearing out the remaining files that had been stuck, those should be completed by end of day today. Content is now moving through the queues normally (avg time is ~6 days for new accounts, ~3-4 days for approved accounts)

If you've already signed-up to become a Marketplace contributor: Head on over to http://contributor.veer.com and the click the "workspace" link at the top of the page. The workspace is where you can upload files, or view previously uploaded files and begin prepping them for submission.
(alternative short-cut: head to your Veer Ideas member page, and click the "workspace" link in the control panel on the right-hand side).

On the refusal of my ten first pictures, the reviewer has stated on the comment that some of the pictures were OK (and he or her named them).

100 images per week is the default submission limit. Once you have submitted 100 images, you'll need to wait until the following week to submit more. Keep in mind that you can continue to upload files into your workspace and prep them for submission in the meantime.

Very much needed functionality for editing:
be able to delete all keywords for particular image.
I have a lot of keywords in IPCT, mainly because I use phrases.
I could have much less (as you apparently prefer) and I have separate short list of keywords for each image. There is no problem adding (copy/paste them)
Unfortunately, first I have to remove all keywords you pick form IPCT and the only way to do it one-by-one.
It's just too time consuming.
Please add this feature "delete all keywords" for editing page!!!!!!

Hi Lev,
Actually you can delete all the keywords off an image. Under the box where you enter the keywords to add to an image, there are two options: "append" or "replace". You can choose, "replace", and any new keywords that you apply to that image will overwrite the existing keywords.
So, you could copy and paste your shorter list of keywords into the box, choose "replace" and click "apply. The old list of keywords will be overwritten with your new list. Just remember to choose "append" when you want to add keywords without deleting your whole list of current terms.

How can I contact inspector if I have specific question?
I'm getting impression that as soon as inspector finds a picture with bad keywords all currently submitted pictures are sent back with the same reason "improve keywords"
for example I have an image in editing are now "Young blonde woman relaxing in spa"
Could some inspector point out for me what keywords aren't relevant?
