How can I edit pending images?

Hi,
After submiting images, I've realized that some of them got mistaken keywords. I want to correct that and to avoid the reviewers the work of sending them back to me to edit. But, I don't find the way to edit them. Is that function available? If so, how?
Thank you,
Silvina

Improvements to Veer Marketplace

Good news! We are making more improvements on Veer Marketplace, and we’ve just pushed a release live with several features and enhancements. Some are specifically for you – our contributors - and others are for our customers.

So what’s new in this release?

New upload options - a top request from vector artists:
- While we will continue to offer auto-preview generation for those that prefer it, you can now submit your own JPEG preview file for your vectors.
- Additionally, the system can extract any embedded IPTC/XMP metadata from the JPEG preview file.
- Both of these new options work via FTP and the web upload tool.
- Click here to see full instructions on how to use the new features.

Sort capability on Dashboard tabs - improved portfolio management:
- This has been another of your top requests – especially from those with larger portfolios.
- Sort options added across Pending, Approved, and Rejected tabs.
- Approved tab offers the most sort options – sort by SKU number, date, number of views, number of downloads, and total earnings.

Clarified workspace control “Media Type”:
- The control to mark illustration files that are in JPEG format was previously hard to find. We’ve made it easier to find and use!
- No need to make changes for photos – but do use this to make sure our system properly recognizes illustrations in JPEG format. This helps ensure your JPEG illustrations show up correctly when buyers use our search filters.
- .EPS vector files are recognized and marked as illustrations automatically – nothing to change.

Addition of dynamic display of four recent images on member pages:
- As part of efforts to connect our Community features in Veer Ideas more closely to Marketplace, we’ve added a feature to your member page that will automatically show your four most recent files – with direct links to your collection.

Enhanced search results
- We are implementing a revised search result that showcases a wider variety of content and contributors. As the size of the collection and number of contributors grows, we are evolving our search experience to best meet customer needs for quality, variety, breadth and depth.

We’ve got more new features and improvements on the way. Stay tuned for updates.

If you have questions, don’t hesitate to post them here. You can reply to this post, or start a new thread. You can also contact us at contributorhelp@veer.com.

New Vector Upload Options

To better support our vector artists, we've added another method to create JPEG previews of .EPS vector files on Veer Marketplace.

Now you can upload your own JPEG preview, or let our system generate one for you automatically. It's up to you.

To upload your own JPEG preview image:

- Upload a JPEG version of your file with the exact same file name as the vector file (with a .jpg extension of course)
Example:
mycoolvector.eps
mycoolvector.jpg
myothercoolvector.eps
myothercoolvector.jpg

- This works using the web upload tool or FTP
- The JPEG file must be at least 2 megapixels (length x width > 2 million pixels)
- JPEGs must be in an RGB color space (sRGB, Adobe RGB)
- You can mix .eps files with and without preview JPEGs in the same upload batch

To use our system generated JPEG preview:

- Simply upload an .EPS vector file and our system will render a JPEG preview for you automatically.

In addition: our system will now read and extract any embedded IPTC/XMP metadata from your JPEG preview file.

This means you can take care of adding titles, descriptions, and keywords in your preferred editing or workflow tool before submitting to Marketplace.

How images in Dashboard are sorted?

I got images from August, September, October then August again. There is no way to sort them to see latest so I have to page until I find them somewhere randomly inserted.

Statistics and Royalties Page Live

If you haven't checked it out yet - this past weekend we released an important contributor feature that many of you have been requesting: a royalties and sales statistics page.

Log-in and head to your Dashboard to see how your Marketplace collection is performing.

We've included a few different ways to track your performance:

The top half of the screen shows a year-to-date summary.
The pie chart on the right shows what portion of your sales were made in the US (this is important info for those who are subject to withholding taxes on US earnings).

The bottom half of the page shows sales over a specific time frame - you can customize the date range in weeks (up to 2 years) and view the data in either chart form or as a table.

By clicking the "view as table" link you can get an expanded detail of each sale including:

- sale date
- sales type: whether the image was licensed with standard credits or with a subscription
- license type: indicates if the sale was a standard license or an extended license option
- description: shows either the resolution purchased, or the type of extended license
- a checkmark to indicate if the sale was from a US buyer (and possibly subject to applicable withholding taxes)
- gross royalty earned (before any applicable withholding taxes)

** Extra super secret squirrel hint for the Excel wizards out there: click the "download as .CSV" link at the bottom of the table if you prefer to extract the data.

Finally - at the bottom of the page is a list of your top performing files in the specified time frame.

Rejections reasons

VMP is currently my first in terms of most INCONSISTENT and ridicules rejections reasons.
Almost every time rejection reason is different.
I get impression that you have no predefined set of criteria and reasons, rather each reviewer on his/her own.
Every time different reason, most of them are completely subjective and non-quantifiable.

Don’t start again with “you are looking for content different from other agencies”. Do you really think serious people will start uploading unique content there while you have almost no sales. I’m putting there only 2-3 years old content. Prove yourself first, then you will get new and better images.

I’m starting seriously doubt that return from this site is going to be worth aggravation it causes.

Pending files transferred back to New

I don't know how to contact Veer so I have to create this in forum.

I recently submitted 15 files and appeared in my pending approval, but today I login and saw the 15 files all transferred back to "New". Look like i have to resubmit and queuing for approval again. What should I do now?

New Stats Page

Let me be the first to say thanks and well done on the stats page. As with the rest of the Marketplace website, it's clean and easy to read, well designed and functional. A good start!
Also, not to stray too far off the subject, the upload and approval process is very good as well, not to mention positioning search results up against the traditional stock images.
And i sold a lot of stuff! Go Veer!
